- Auto drain filter are equipped with a float actuaded device which automatically ejects liquide contaminates when the liquid level in the bowl reaches a predetermined height the float (f) opens a pilot valve ( v ) this admits air above the piston ( p ) thus causing the drain valve ( d ) to open ( fig. ìA) the liquid is expelled by air pressure to a drain where upon the float closes the ilot valve and so the drin valve. for draining manually turn the brass /plastic knob coming out - clock wise slightiy.
Installations:
- Auto drain assembly is easily interchangeable with the manule drain if suppiled in a kit form SI-AD P3 ( Fig . 2) the auto drain can be installed by simply removing the manual drain cock from the bowl and reassemble the auto drain as shown in ( fig.3 ) Minimum Working pressure : 25 P.S.I. Maximum Working pressure : 175 P.S.I.
